What is the NEET Exam?
NEET means the National Eligibility cum
Entrance test conducted by N.T.A (National Testing Agency) through this exam –
MBBS, BDS & others Para Medical seats are filled in India.
When the NEET exam was started –
NEET exam
was the first time conducted in 2013 in some states but not valid all over
India. So it was disposed of with some regional issue.
But since
2016 this is valid all over India. This is passed through Lok Sabha & Rajya
Sabha. Earlier MBBS & BDS seats filled by all India pre-medical & pre
Dental courses by AIPMT & others state pre Medical tests like UPCPMT/ Bihar
PMT & other states.
Nowadays
NEET is conducted by NTA.
How many exams are conducted in India for MBBS-
Nowadays,
there is a single common entrance exam NEET for admission in Medical college
all over India.
Who can prepare for Medical exams, class 12th
appearing/passed -
Students
must have secured a minimum of 50% in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) general
candidates and 45% for a general PH and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Age limits
= 25 yrs for General Candidates
= 30 yrs for SC/ST/OBC
When a student should start preparing for NEET-
In NEET exam questions are from 11th
& 12th class syllabus but a student should start developing
basic concepts from class 9th for better results in NEET.
